Far-sightedness is a condition in which distant objects are seen clearly but the things that are close cannot be seen properly. People suffering from Hyperopia or Far Sightedness cannot read books and newspapers properly while they can read billboards correctly.
Symptoms
- Blurred vision while focusing on close objects
- Aching Eyes
- Headache
- Eye Strain
Causes
Hyperopia is caused when the cornea has a very little curvature or the eyeball is too short. This causes the eye entering the eye unable to focus correctly.
Treatment
Farsightedness can be corrected by wearing eyeglasses and contact lenses.
