The eyes are probably the greatest gift to each and every living creature on earth. For all that our eyes give us, it does some good to show gratitude to the most beautiful part of the face by giving them a little care. Here are some great eye care tips for healthy, beautiful eyes:
- Include A vitamin in diet to make eyes brighter (eggs, milk, fish, papaya, cilantro etc.). Wash eyes with cold water for shining eyes.
- Exercise regularly, in order to improve blood circulation. Only then your eyes receive enough oxygen for good performance.
- Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables like carrots, drumstick, spinach, papaya and mangoes. All these are rich in beta carotene which helps to have healthy eyes.
- Wash your eyes before going to sleep and ensure that there is no make-up on your eyes before you sleep, because, make-up creams may irritate your eyes as it will be there for the whole night. It is better if no cream is applied.
- Use a clean cotton ball dipped in milk to clean your eyes. Milk is a good and safe natural cleanser.
- Anti-reflective coatings on your lens can be applied by your optometrist to reduce discomfort and to ease reduced vision from bright and/or flickering sources of like such as fluorescent and VDT lights.
- After every 20-30 minutes of looking into your computer screen, take a break and gaze into any light colored object at least 20 feet away. This helps change the focal length of your eyes, a must-do for tired eyes.
