Children need to be constantly watched and kept an eye on. They are more likely to suffer from eye injuries as unlike elders they have less comprehending capabilities and are less aware about danger.
As parents one needs to be alert, as children tend to fall into trouble in seconds. Many a times a great danger befalls a child as the parents shift their focus away from the child for a minor task or time frame.
Sometimes parents may not even know when a child is suffering from an injury this lack of awareness may further bring in a great harm.
It is therefore very important that parents no and be aware of what the child is doing.
Some of the symptoms that will help us identify if one is suffering from an eye injury is:
1) Your child has problem or trouble seeing.
2) Your child has a cut or tear on the eyelid.
3) One eye is not able to move as well as the other eye.
4) One eye sticks out as compared to the other.
5) One may notice the pupil having an unusual size or shape.
6) There is bright blood like spots on the clearer part of the eye.
7) The child constantly complains of something in the eyelid that cannot be removed easily.
Keep these points in mind and help remove and identify anything from the eye of the child with medical help that causes trouble.
