The cat eyes look is very popular these days. You can see everybody in Hollywood and the modeling world wearing it.
The cat eyes look is subtle, so you can use it on most occasions. Office going women can look sensuous without the danger of going over the top, and party animals can wear it to get those stares. Depending on the occasion, you can use various versions of the cat eyes look. It can be thin and pointed, or fat and smudgy, or plain or glittery or any combination.
Cat eyes make up is all about the eyeliner. It takes practice to get it right. But once you get the hang of it, its pretty easy. If you are a beginner, use a pencil liner.
How to do the cat eye makeup
Things needed
- Black pencil liner
- Black liquid liner
- Eyelash curler
- Black mascara
- Concealer
- Dark eye shadow
- Eye shadow brush
Cat Eyes Makeup Tips
- Apply eye concealer to conceal dark circles and blemishes.
- Use eyelash curler to curl your eyelashes. This will give added lift and definition. This step is not mandatory.
- Lift at the end of the eye and draw a line from the corner of the eyelid to the end of the lash line with an eyeliner pencil. The line should be thick at the eyelid and tapering at the eyelash.
- Brush dark eye shadow directly above eyeliner extending into the brow bone with an eye shadow brush.
- Apply liquid liner on upper eyelid. Again, the line should be thick at the eyelid and tapering at the eyelash.
- Apply black mascara.
Remove any smudges with Q-tips dipped in eye make up remover.
