Eye Make-Up Tips

For Close-Set Eyes

  • Apply a medium to light shade of powder eye shadow over your entire lid.
  • Then use a complimentary color in a darker shade on the outer third part of the eye-lid. Extend it a little bit beyond the outer corner of your eye.
  • Use your fingertip and blend the darker color well with the softer color.
  • Use pencil eyeliner across your upper lash line and extend it slightly ahead the outer edges of your eyes.
  • Curl your eyelashes and use a couple of coats of mascara over them.

For Wide-apart eyes

  • Apply a medium to light shade of powder eye shadow over your entire lid.
  • Take a slightly darker shade of the same color and apply in the inner corner of your eyelids. Then draw the color out like a fine lone along your lid crease towards the outer corner of your eyes. Blend a little bit.
  • Use pencil or liquid eyeliner over your upper and lower lash lines.
  • Curl your lashes and apply a couple of coats of mascara.

For Deep-set eyes

  • Apply a light shade shimmer powder eye shadow just under your eyebrows in order to highlight the area.
  • Now apply a medium shaded powder eye shadow over your entire eyelid.
  • Take a darker color of the same shade and apply it along the crease of your eyelid towards the outer edge.
  • Blend this prominent crease with your fingertips.
  • Use brown or black pencil eyeliner over your upper lash line. Apply the pencil eyeliner half way through your lower lash line and join the upper liner and lower liner at the outer edge of the eye.
  • Curl your eyelashes and apply a couple of coats of mascara.

For prominent eyes

  • Apply a medium shade of powder eye shadow over your entire lid.
  • Use pencil eyeliner or the darker shade of the shadow over your upper lash line.
  • Smudge a bit with your fingertips.
